Members of the public can book student-led experiences at VSOHA. We offer Bodywork & Massage treatments, and Yoga Therapy sessions. The priority of our student clinics is to enhance our students’ education. We simulate a professional environment in a safe and supervised setting to give them “real life” experience working with the public. Students are able to perform sessions in accordance with their progression through their program. As such, sessions and treatments are offered to clients at exceptional value. An invaluable part of the clinic for our students is receiving honest and considered feedback from participants. We provide feedback forms to guide you in what information we look for. We encourage you to expand on your experience and observations as a recipient in the comment section.
Bodywork Therapy Clinic
Student Clinic is a simulated professional environment where our Bodywork Therapy students gain “real-life” experience working with the public in a safe, supervised environment. The clinic offers bodywork and massage treatments at exceptional value and is open to the public year round.
Students perform treatments in accordance with their progression through the program. By their first clinic they can perform a full-body Swedish massage and with each following clinic they can apply new techniques such as deep tissue, joint release and shiatsu.
Free Yoga Therapy Clinic
The Yoga Therapy Student Clinic follows the same structure as a professional Yoga Therapy session: by employing the principles of yoga in the context of a private session. Student Yoga therapists work one-on-one with you to create a unique offering designed to address your needs. The sessions can support healing on all levels – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic.
Yoga Therapy has many applications. Some common ones include: lower-back pain, improving posture and mobility, physical injuries, grief, anxiety and depression.
No yoga experience is required to participate in yoga therapy.
If you know the name of the practitioner you’d like to work with, please include their name in the intake form us “What is your reason for your visit?”.
