Mary Reich EXA FacultyMary (Reich) Peterson has been choreographing, performing, improvising and researching movement for 35 years. Mary currently teaches movement at University of California, San Diego, the La Jolla Playhouse Summer Conservatory Program,  Expressive Arts Institute of San Diego and Vancouver School of Healing Arts.  She has performed in Off Festival of Avignon, France, Russia Alternative Dance Festival, Seattle Improvisational Dance Festival to name a few. Her work is informed by experiences as a practitioner of the Feldenkrais method and various studies with artists such as Jerzy Grotowski, Suzanne Lacy, Nina Martin, Deborah Hay, Karen Schaffman, Suprapto Suryodarmo and dozens of post modern teachers dealing with the senses, spontaneity and place. She earned an MFA from UC Irvine and post graduate work at European Graduate School.
